Language sources and status
Source transparency matters because a plausible translation is not automatically pedagogically sound, and a publicly readable word list is not automatically licensed for republication.
| Reference | How it informed the build | Republication status |
|---|---|---|
| Turkish Textbook: Most Common Words | Concept reference for high-frequency vocabulary. The app now also includes a separate 1,104-entry development file supplied by the project owner. | The supplied file is included as development content, but its provenance, reuse rights and frequency methodology still need confirmation before a branded “top 1,000” claim. |
| Yaşar Esendal Kuzucu, The Delights of Learning Turkish | Pedagogical inspiration for the sequence dialogue → vocabulary → grammar explanation → exercise, and for beginner themes including restaurant language, word order and cases. | No book passage, exercise set or dialogue is reproduced as app content. The field missions use newly written text and a different interaction structure. |

Editorial release gate
Before public educational marketing, a qualified Turkish reviewer should check every displayed sentence for grammar, idiom, register and accepted variants; corrections should be recorded in a content changelog. The project should also retain the vocabulary dataset licence, corpus version, selection method and update date before marketing the rank path as frequency-based.
